Alysha MacEwan - Stylist & Certified Make-up Artist

Alysha started into the hair industry in September 2011 when she attended Festival School of Hairstyling. Upon completing her program with honours, she started at Monatge in October 2012 and very quickly found her passion for colouring hair and men’s barbering, among all the other areas of hairstyling!

Alysha eagerly continued with education beyond school, attending many Eufora Academy classes offered at Metro Beauty Supply in Toronto. She has received certificates in:

Foundations cutting 1, VIA cutting 1, Eufora Advanced colour, Eufora Artisan colour, Artisan and You, Mens Barbering, Men’s Shave, Men’s Fade class, Master Finishing, Advanced Blonding, Balayage and Beyond, and Master Upstyling. She has also been the salons Eufora Salon Specialist since 2016, which takes her to Metro Beauty Supply for quarterly classes.

Her goals for the future are to be a Eufora Master Colourist, and to continue learning more skills in men’s barbering.

In the Winter Of 2019, Alysha decided to add to her tool belt by enrolling in a Make-up Artist certification program at Elegence School in London. She completed this program with honours and is now a certified Make-up Artist within the salon, which is perfect for weddings, prom or any occasion!

Brielle Kikkert - Stylist

Brielle started her career as a hairstylist while in Highschool.  While completing her co-op placement at Montage, Brielle quickly advanced in her talent for hairstyling.

Once finishing Highschool she started at Festival School for Hairstyling in Stratford while continuing to work part-time at Montage.  Brielle has now completed all her hours towards becoming a licensed Hairstylist.

Leonie van de Wetering - Stylist

When Leonie finished high school she was deciding between becoming a massage therapist or a hairstylist. She decided to go the massage route, but after a couple years of doing (and enjoying) the profession she continued to have a desire to learn about cutting hair.

In 2017 she started learning about her own curls, how to care for them best and how to consistently get nice hair days without the frizz or the “guess we’ll see what it does”. The realization how many others struggled with the same problems gave her a drive to start looking into hair school to become a hairstylist and teaching others too. She enrolled January 2020 and hasn’t looked back since.

She has worked with many curly girls already, helping them to style their curly hair with confidence, and is now building her portfolio as she learns to cut their curls into the shapes curly girls desire. She has already taken a couple courses and has many more on her radar.

While curly hair has been a large focus, she also enjoys giving people beautiful color transformations and working towards the styles that makes them feel their best.

Keyonia Johnston - Stylist

Keyonia has joined as an apprentice after completing her hairstyling diploma in June of 2021 at the Festival School of Hairstyling. She has a love for bright blondes, up-dos and continuing education.

She has completed her certification in Hair Botox, Wig Making, and Hair Extensions. Keyonia still continues to take additional courses focused on her interests and plans on keeping up to date with the latest trends.
